Marco Crepaldi received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Politecnico di Torino (Polito), Turin, Italy, in 2005 and 2009 respectively. After the Ph.D, he worked as a post doc at the Vlsi-Lab, Electrical Engineering department, Polito. During 2008 he was a visiting scholar at Columbia University in the City of New York working with Prof. Peter Kinget. He was a junior and then senior post-doc at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia @ Polito, Center for Space Human Robotics, Smart Materials Platform, from 2010 to mid 2016. He is now the coordinator of the Electronic Design Laboratory (EDL), in the Center for Human Technology (CHT) in Genova Erzelli. His research interests are CMOS ultra-low-power ultra-wide-band (UWB) transceiver design, VHDL-AMS behavioral modeling of analog, mixed-signal circuits, wireless communications circuits and systems, Ultra-Low Current Amplifiers and sensing elements for nanostructures. His research interest include also One Instruction Set Computers (OISCs) implementation with simulation and compilation toolchains. His professional interests are related also to the development of systems for professional digital video and audio broadcasting.
